The owners of this pool house are avid swimmers. The pool becomes an integral design feature between a series of gable ended spaces. The garage and east wing are almost completely separated connected by only a breezeway and gallery respectively. A fountain directly adjacent to the projecting island like living area provides a dramatic focal point, particularly at night. Powder room and refrigerator/pantry are housed in a cube element between the foyer and kitchen.

Mitchell O'Neil's unique pool house design received an Award of Merit for Design from the American Institute of Architects in 2015.
